Tell Yourself, “The Power Is In Me, My Gifts and Positive Affirmations”
The power to get wealth. It’s in you and it is you.
As I lay thinking about my life this morning and all of the wisdom and knowledge that God has mercifully bestowed upon me I have to say that I am sincerely grateful.
Being blessed with the power to get wealth I absolutely love using that power gifted to me by our Heavenly Father. It is through His Holy Spirit that I am able to use that power a little every day to obtain my wealth; spiritual and financial.
The Beginning of Changing My Life.
Overbrook Elementary
The beginning of my journey was one filled with all kinds of happiness, heartache, fear, doubt and even some worry.
The power to get wealth started at the school pictured above when I was just 6 years old.
When I was in elementary school, Overbrook Elementary, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I was bullied something awful. It was there that my low self-esteem began to develop. That low-self esteem would follow me for most of my life. Even though I had a great childhood playing and enjoying life with my neighborhood friends, I often feared going to school because I knew I would be bullied. I, unfortunately, also suffered from a learning disability diagnosed by me now. I had an extremely hard time learning things like multiplication tables. Math was not for me. I didn’t enjoy it and I was horrible when it came to numbers. This, too, followed me to high school and to this day, I do not like math. Now English is a whole different subject! I enjoyed English because I loved to write and still do to this day. As most of you know when I am awakened by God in the wee hours of the night it is usually because He has something for me to write. I have written so many masterpieces with God’s help that I think it’s time that I start sharing it all so that I can use it to be a blessing to others as it has been to me.
On with my story. After finally standing up for myself to the bully, she finally left me alone and I was free to enjoy jumping double dutch and playing at recess with my other friends, but there were times when even they were being bullied. After graduating from elementary school I entered into middle school only to meet two new male bullies. My father nipped them in the bud when he came to the school and spoke with the principal. One boy’s mother shipped him to Virginia to live with his father because he was just too bad for her to handle. The other boy was kicked out of school because he was tougher than nails and did not belong in any one’s school. That was short lived and I was thankful. I had some awesome girlfriends in middle school and some of us continue that friendship to this day.
Overbrook High School
When I arrived at Overbrook High School it was a pleasant welcome. I enjoyed my time at Overbrook, but looking back over my tenure there, I DID NOT learn much at all. I was in the lowest of classes and now I know that the courses offered to us had/have nothing to do with anything if that makes sense. Overbrook did not offer any college preparatory courses. To be honest with you my high school did not offer me much of anything. I did, however, make good friends and I had a blast in gym. SMILE. In gym we were required to climb ropes, run sprints, among other things. I excelled at everything, but climbing that rope. That was one of the most difficult tasks I ever encountered as a student.
When I graduated from high school I was lost as to what I wanted to do. Once again, looking back on my life I know that having a college has never been a necessity for me because I am gifted and highly talented. I also have the wisdom, knowledge, understanding, tools and the resources along with the right mindset to use my gifts in a fruitful way.
There have been endless times when I was trying to find my way only to veer off the path, lost. There have been times when I have been all over the map not knowing which direction to go in.
What I have discovered in my adult life is that I have been sitting on a gold mine all of my life as are you. I have a reservoir of wealth inside me. It has always been there. Let me explain.
I have several businesses from the brilliant ideas, possibilities and opportunities that have been presented to me in the most unique way possible. I can’t even begin to tell you. I was desperate to make money. Lots of money, but I thought that it was wrong for me to want money so my focus has always been to help and bless other women in their endeavors. It has been my hope and goal to be a blessing to other women suffering or dealing with uncertainty and other life blocking obstacles. I know about obstacles and fear first hand and from my own life experiences, I know that I can be a blessing to those who may still be trying to find their way in life or in business.
Here’s Where I Went All Kinds of Wrong
When it came to making money I had no clue as to how to get money flowing into my life on a consistent basis. I also allowed money to dictate my mood leaving me way down in the dumps. Here I was always thinking about how I can be a support system to others, but I wasn’t doing much for myself in terms of making money. I was not promoting all of my businesses which meant there was no traffic being directed to my websites which meant I was not making a dime. When I finally opened my narrow mind, I knew that I had the amazing ability to become a millionaire. I was already a million-heir, but I needed to work on becoming a millionaire, yes, because I knew that I was more than capable of making this dream a reality. I wanted that dream house with that phenomenal kitchen laid-out exclusively for me. I would need an office. I would also need space to make my body butter and body butter gift box sets. My family and I will be moving into our new home in early 2019. I’ll share it all with you once we are settled in.
How Did I Change My Life?
I changed my life, but only in the areas that needed to be changed, and powered up with positive thinking and daily affirmations. I knew it would be important for me to do something differently if I wanted to be highly successful where my businesses were concerned. So what all did I do to change my mindset and increase my finances? Well, for one, I began looking at myself. I started thinking about all of my businesses. I started reading and researching about how I could change my life. I found youtube videos that talked about positive affirmations. I delved deeper into the power of positive affirmations and I began speaking some of the affirmations that I found on youtube over my life, but what really changed my thinking and my life was the I AM affirmations that I wrote myself. They have been more than enriching, enlightening and encouraging; they have been life changing for me and I know they can be for you as well.
You see I needed to make a change in my life and even though I was making money, I wanted to make even more money. I needed to make things happen for myself and my affirmations have been that help that I was desperately searching for and I know they can do the same for you. I now use and apply these very same affirmations towards my skincare product line, Beauty and the Face, Love for the Skin, Luxurious Body Butter Cream business. They work. Decreeing and declaring my beliefs over my life and businesses, Beauty and the Face is now a registered trademark. My sales have been terrific and I am still flying high and super excited to share my skin-glowing moisturizer with the world. My Christmas sales for Beauty and the Face Gift Box Sets have also been phenomenal.
Speak Those Affirmations.
As the year begins to slowly wind down I am preparing my businesses for even greater in 2019 making new and exciting plans for my customers and clients. It’s amazing how much you can get done when you relax, slow down and confidently believe that those things which you speak will come into existence. I will take pictures of the gift boxes before I ship them to my customers so you can see what having a positive mindset and beliefs can do for your life and goals, visions and dreams.
Now, how do I get wealth?
- I use the power that God has given me. (In that power there is a reservoir of tools and resources in addition to my gifts, talents, skills and great abilities).
- I apply that power to my businesses to accomplish my goals to make money.
- I stay laser focused on my goals.
- I am consistent or at least try to be at all times.
- I believe in myself.
- I speak my daily affirmations with conviction
- I give God thanks.
