5 Musts Before Launching Your Social Media Marketing Campaign

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

When you decide to pursue a social media campaign, it’s natural to get a bit excited. You’ve been thinking about the potential returns of social media marketing for a long time, and you want to start earning the rewards as soon as possible. For this reason, many new entrepreneurs and marketers jump in without thinking—and end up wrecking their campaigns before they ever have a chance to get off the ground.

The execution of your campaign matters—significantly—but if you haven’t set yourself up with the proper research and foundations, your campaign’s potential will be crippled. Before you start posting anything on social media, make sure you take care of these five pre-requisites:

1. Know your goals and targets.

This is by far the most important step of the process. Your general goal may be “success” with social media marketing, but what does that “success” really mean? Does it mean more traffic? More likes or followers? Higher brand awareness? Moreover, how are you going to get there? What demographics are you targeting? How are you going to appeal to them? What platforms are you going to use?

If you haven’t thought deeply about these questions, you shouldn’t start your campaign yet. Dig into some market research, as well as some competitive research, to learn more about your industry’s landscape. You’ll want to set a direction for your campaign, including who you’re targeting, why you’re targeting them, and the precise numbers you want to achieve. Without focus, you won’t even know how to measure the success of your campaign.

2. Confirm individual responsibilities and checkpoints.

Who in your company is responsible for managing your campaigns? What, exactly, are they responsible for? Is someone going to take charge of posting new content, with someone else taking point on responding to incoming messages? You’ll want to make this clear before beginning, or certain responsibilities will be lost in the shuffle.

You’ll also want to set up some key checkpoints for your campaign. For example, you may call a meeting every week or two to get the team on the same page and address any issues, or you might set up a monthly evaluation to take the pulse of your campaign and make adjustments as necessary. Outline this as formally as possible.

3. Establish conversion opportunities throughout your site.

No matter how big your social media audience gets, the real value is going to be people clicking through to your website and converting, whether that means joining your email list or buying your products and/or services. Accordingly, before you post anything, you’ll want to go through your site and make sure it’s fully optimized for customer conversions.

Depending on your goals, this could involve setting up specific landing pages for different audience segments or specific functions. However, most of your focus should be centered on providing ample conversion opportunities on your content-rich pages—as this is where the majority of your social audience will end up.

4. Set up an ongoing blog.

You’ll need to set up an ongoing blog, complete with high-quality posts, for a variety of reasons. First, it’s going to serve as discussion material for your social media accounts. Second, it’s going to serve as a means of not only keeping users on your site, but convincing them that you deserve their business. Your content establishes your brand as an authority in your space, which builds trust and drives conversions.

Success is You

THE TRUE MEANING OF SUCCESS

YOU!

Woman-Celebrating-raising-hands-to-the-sky-God-Empowered-Success

Success. What does it really mean? Many people define success as knowing how to make money effortlessly.  The very definition, for some, means having money, and lots of it, secured in their bank account.  Some define success as having “made it” whatever that means.  There are those who define success as being powerful, rich and famous with millions of dollars to purchase anything their heart desires.  Living in a mansion in the exclusive section of the city, driving an expensive top of the line car with all the luxuries that makes it the top of the line, while enjoying all the amenities that a certain lifestyle brings.  Being able to afford the finest things in life becomes the norm, but what are the finest things in life.  I guess the finer things in life are material goods and I guess it can also be defined as buying the best high quality anything that money can buy.  It’s nice to have a million dollars.  It’s nice to experience being able to pay bills without struggling.  It’s a joy to have the money you need to buy good wholesome high quality foods week after week without ever having to worry how you are going to make ends meet.  It’s a blessing to know that your electricity will not be turned for nonpayment, but being a millionaire definitely does not define success.

WHAT SUCCESS IS NOT!

Success is not getting dressing up, wearing a formal black suit as if you were going on an interview for a job to earn just enough wages to pay a bill or two.

WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS ARE SUCCESSFUL WOMEN IN BUSINESS

If you’re an entrepreneur and you’re doing things God’s way then you are the definition of success.  Have you looked at yourself lately?  Have you thought about your character, your attributes and how kind, considerate, compassionate, nice, polite, thoughtful and caring you are?  Do you take time to share all that you have, blessings of wisdom, understanding and an abundance of knowledge with those who need it?  Do you take time to listen to that voice crying out for help?  Do you take time from your schedule to help someone in need?  What about praying; do you pray for other people’s success?  Are you honest and trustworthy?  Well, depending on how you’ve answered these questions and as a woman of God, I would have to say that your definition of success should be you!

THE TRUE MEANING OF SUCCESS IS YOU!

Success is Women in Business Prospering Through Wisdom!

Before you decided to become an entrepreneur, to share your product or service with the world, you were successful.  Why?  Because you are a child of God, living by and keeping His commandments.  You obey God with all your heart and soul.  You use your God-given gifts to give Him glory.  Success is accomplishing the things you have listed on your daily to do list even if it is just one thing.  Success is encouraging yourself.  Success is doing what you love.  Success is lifting up yourself and staying on the path God has designed exclusively for you.  Success is having a positive outlook on things which means you have a positive mindset that comes from the Light that lives, breathes and shines inside of you.  You are the meaning of success because you know who and whose you are.  Now, Woman Entrepreneur, get ready to do a new thing in your business because you believe! Enjoy your success. You deserve it!

Think Outside the Box

Think Outside the Box

Think-Outside-the-Box

What Box!

Think outside the box.  What box is the question.  Have you ever asked yourself what does this mean?

There use to be a time, that, whenever I heard the term think outside the box, my mind would start racing desperately trying to understand what it meant to think outside the box.  I began trying to come up with new ideas that pertained to my business. I truly believed I was living in a box and maybe I was, but this was not the case where my business was/is concerned because I have and continue to use my gifts every day doing what I love.

Now when I hear or read the phrase, Think Outside the Box, I say to myself what box?  I realize that there is no box.  There were, however, limits that I placed on myself which made me think that there was a box, but now I am free to do what I want to do and as an entrepreneur, the list never ends and I love it.

There is an enormous university out there and you are truly free to do and be whatever you long to do and be. There is no one and I mean nothing that can stop you from accomplishing your goals.  You can live the life you dream about every day of your life if that is the vision you see when you lay down at night or when you wake up in the morning. If you are saying to yourself that you are living outside the box, ask yourself, to what box are you referring.  If you feel like you are being limited by your present situation like perhaps working for someone else and you are not totally using all of your gifts, then it’s time to rise, climb and shine and break those barriers that hold you back from doing what you want to do.  Life is a blessing and it is filled with an abundance of everything you need to be a highly successful and phenomenal entrepreneur; wisdom, wealth, knowledge, ornaments of grace and a host of business tools that you can use to ensure your financial freedom.

Don’t Get Trapped into Thinking

You Need to Think Outside the Box

A goldfish jumping out of the water to escape to freedom. White background.

Don’t get trapped into believing that you need to think outside the box because you are not and have never been in a box.  I understand that thinking outside the box means going above and beyond your present situation.  I know that it means doing things differently than ever before to take your business to the next level.  Always remember this should you reflect upon the steps it took to get you to this point;Just know that you already have everything you need to be the brilliant entrepreneur you know you are.  Don’t get trapped and enjoy being free to be the brilliant creator that has designed her business by thinking outside the box you were never in in the first place!

 It’s Time to Encourage Yourself

Encourage Yourself

It’s time to encourage yourself like never before and you are going to be Empowered, Nurturing your gifts with the Courage to Optimize, Understand and Realize that you have the greatest potential deep inside you, like seeds planted and growing in the richest soil and as you work towards living your life to the fullest by Accomplishing your Goals, you will be preparing to Excel in your business!
