By day she works in corporate America sharing her expertise of communications and social media globally.  In the evening hours she is constantly, with a sincere and consistent effort, updating her blog, JDanielleDesign. She’s taking her vision along with all of her dreams to a place where no one has ever gone before.  Her goal? To leave the corporate world and do what she loves full time, which is creating and designing and might we add, she does it so well! 

Becoming an entrepreneur takes serious thought.  It also means being focused and consistent, but the goal(s) don’t stop there. 

Being an entrepreneur is an honor and a blessing because you get to utilize your phenomenal gifts and great talents.  Building a business takes time.  A lot of time.  It requires you to have patience and understanding; understanding that it is going to take time and knowledge, with some wisdom, to grow your business. It would be nice to experience overnight success, but same day success would be great! I believe achieving same day success is possible when you tap into all the resources and tools available to you.

It all starts with God and thanksgiving.  From there you’ll grow your business with these essential tools that promise to help you to achieve optimal success.  Here they are:

• Knowing the gifts you possess
• Yours talents
• Your creativity
• Your skill set
• Your great ability
• Consistency
• Your goals and how you’re going to achieve them
• Marketing plan
• Financial goals
• How you’re going to promote your business

You see, the list goes on and on.  This is one list that will never end because as you work your business you will be incorporating a bevy of amazing business ideas and goals as you go along learning about business and learning new and awesome things about yourself as a business owner.

As you work your business your mind will be on overload and you’ll continue to be in awe because you will quickly see that your creativity is going to send you soaring to life-changing success.

If you’re harboring and carrying around any negative feelings or perhaps you are fearful in anyway, it’s best to release it right now before you take another step because truly you have nothing and no one to fear.  If you’re afraid of starting your business and maybe even embarrassed because you feel people are going to think a certain way about you, forget it and let it all go.  You are a great woman of God who is about to take that step onto the ladder fenced up to heaven with faith guiding and leading you.  This is truly an exciting and challenging time for you and you should be thrilled that you are about to embark on greatness and that greatness is YOU!

And It’s Changing Ways

I just got off the phone with a very dear close friend of mine.  She, too, is an entrepreneur.  We don’t talk everybody because we both have businesses to run, but we do check in weekly to share tidbits and to inspire. 

When I called her a few minutes ago she sounded a little tired. I understand her feeling.  She is constantly and may I say she is consistent when it comes to her business goals.  She has to be as do we all.  We talked briefly and I wanted to share with you what I told just told her in all of the three minutes we spoke. 

I told her that I had to change my meta descriptions on my website, Beauty and the Face.  She said that’s technology for you; you have to keep up with it and I responded with this; Yes, technology is changing every second we breathe.  My friend laughed so hard when I said that and I said, and I’m not going to wrack my brain trying to keep up with it.  I went on to say that as long as the Holy Spirit is guiding and instructing me and I am faithfully heeding His every word and following Him then I cannot go wrong regardless of how much technology changes.

I hope this little information inspires you in some way.

IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR YOUR BUSINESS

I enjoy all of my businesses.  I feel as though they are a part of me because they are.  They are important components of my life because they were all birthed from my God-given gifts.

With opportunities golden and never-ending I like to use every new goal, dream and vision to create new extensions of and for all my businesses.  I have this one big umbrella and under that umbrella I have placed all of my entitles. 

When I enter into my office six days a week my mind is always working, not overtime, but it is working.  Things just seem to flow into my mind in the middle of the night.  There are also those Sundays when the Holy Spirit drops nuggets of gold into my heart, mind and spirit.  I journal.  When I tell you that the Holy Spirit speaks to my heart, He speaks to my heart with crystal clear instruction.  I heed and write down all of those things that He shares with me.  I am thankful.

I think that my grateful heart is the reason that I conduct my business in a way that is pleasing to God.  This is extremely important for me.  There are times when I hear unethical business transactions being made only to have my son hear me say, “oh, that is not right!” and he always feels the need to remind me that “IT IS JUST BUSINESS MOM!” and I say yes, but it doesn’t make it right.

Conducting business in a Christ-like manner is vital.  This is what makes us standout from the rest of the business world.  I don’t want to lay down at night restlessly turning and not being able to sleep because I wasn’t fair to someone who trusted me.

One of the reasons for our successes is because we are authentic, truthful, honest and we just know how to conduct business. 

There is a Light that shines from our storefronts, our hearts, and people can see, smell and taste when things just are right and/or honest.  Shaped in His image, it is super important that we be true to our customers and potential customers because they are one of the reasons we have our businesses in the first place. We always want to create value for others. It is an incredible feeling to be able to be a blessing to others by helping them change some area or aspect of their lives.  We are vessels.  We are amazing women of God and we are God’s Virtuous Women Entrepreneurs.  Doesn’t that say it all and doesn’t that define HOW WE DO BUSINESS.

AND ANOTHER NEW DAY

2018, the New Year has ushered in.  What does that mean for God’s Virtuous Women Entrepreneurs?

I BELIEVE 2018 IS AN EXTENSION of 2017. 

As 2017 began to wind down I was constantly seeing finish strong, finish strong.  This banner of encouragement was meant to uplift and help prepare for 2018.

I know you are familiar with this saying,

THIS IS YOUR YEAR

When 2018 ushered in I looked at it this time as another day. Another day to thank God for His grace and mercy.  I often hear people say THIS IS YOUR YEAR. How will you make this your year.  Let’s take time to think about this and change your mindset and instead of saying this is your year, I want you to affirm what you want for your business as well as for your life.  I want you to believe in yourself, your goals and your dreams and then take inspired action.

CHANGE

When 2018 came in nothing changed in life and nothing changed in my business.  It was still get up and work my business. If I was expecting change I had to be the one to make that change.  The only change that I felt was necessary was thinking about myself more.  I vowed to myself that I was really going to start thinking more about myself.  I had made a commitment to take my business to higher heights, traveling roads I had never traveled before.  With complete confidence in myself and all of my abilities I have been literally making more money now than I ever have before.  

ANOTHER STREAM OF INCOME

I have decided after ten years of keeping my vision of having a tee shirt in the back of mind, I decided it is important that I share my quotes with the world.  For me it is life-loving like I love to say and life-loving is super important believe me when I tell you.  I know there are large volumes of people running their own tee shirt shops and I thought to myself, I will open my SHE SHIRT SHOP and make it all my own.  And so I have and I am having a ball creating my tees created and designed exclusively for the female heart.  I love my tees and I am expecting my audience to love them as well.  There’s always something for everyone. 

BEAUTY AND THE FACE, LOVE FOR THE SKIN (LLC)

My other true love was also birthed two years ago, but it has now come full circle this year.  Talk about excited.  I am elated to tell you about Beauty and the Face, Love for the Skin.

Beauty and the Face is a unique formula of butter for the body that contains rich emollients to glow any skin type.  I’ve always suffered from excessively dry skin and I decided that I didn’t want to buy anymore watered down lotions for the fibers of my being.  It was at the moment that I decided to start my own line of body butters to moisturize, hydrate, nourish and heal the skin.  When I handcrafted my first batch and I put it on my skin, I was amazed.  I immediately shared it with my husband.  He loved it as well as my children. 

One day when my husband went to work a female co-worker asked him what he was using on his skin as his skin was just a glowing.  He told her that we use Beauty and the Face! Our own body butter line.  We introduced our flagship/original formula to the world and as of this very second, the orders are coming and women are loving it.  I will see how much they love it though if they buy from us again, but for now I am grateful for any order that we get.
