What To Do When Obstacles Block Your Path

How To Remove Obstacles From Your Life!

Do you know the best to respond when obstacles block your path and keep you from accomplishing your daily-to-do-list is easy; have faith in God.

Female entrepreneurs, you are beyond brilliant. You are those bright beings who love to change people’s lives with your services or products.  You are the beautiful faces beyond your own powerful brands. Clothed with wisdom and understanding, you have a unique skill set that propels you to success.

Sometimes in life there are obstacles we have to stare down and hurdles we have to jump over to keep our businesses flourishing and afloat.

As Christian women business owners we must face the fact that there are days when giants greet us waiting to throw us off our path of determination that leads to our destinations.

Today was one of those days for me. As a matter-of-fact, I encountered a few days where giants where awaiting me. Sometimes I tread through the forest and then there are days when I walk away. I don’t give up, but i just walk away until the next day.  When I walk away I put my computer to sleep and I proceed to do something totally different like, purging and cleaning my house.

What to do when obstacles block your path and keep you from accomplishing your daily-to-do-list is easy; sit and be still.

What to do when obstacles block your path

If you find that obstacles come to meet you at your place of business, here’s what you should do:

  • Turn off your computer and read the word of the Lord thy God.
  • Breathe and meditate on the word of God. Two amazing verses of Scripture that you should read and allow to sink deep into your spirit are Psalm 51: 7-19 and Psalm 56: 10-12.
  • Speak to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to speak to your heart. Maybe there’s something He’s told you to do and you decided you wanted to do what you wanted to do; forget about what you want to do and listen to the Holy Spirit before you attempt to do anything else in terms of your business.
  • You can also just relax and be still and do nothing at all. Sit and keep still and listen to see if there is something God wants you to do that is totally different from what you want to do. Maybe God is telling you to do this over here and you’re trying to do that over there. It is important for you to heed His wise counsel.

It’s always easy to do the will of God and allow things to flow in your life.  When we do things our way, without the guidance and direction of His Holy Spirit we get all tangled up in a mess and then we have to call on His name to help us out of the mess that we often find ourselves in.

As I mentioned earlier, today was a day of obstacles and hurdles. I decided to get in bed and write an article for one of my empires and guess what, the words flowed from my heart onto my writing pad. And now, it’s 5:39 Friday evening and time for me to get back to writing a little while longer. I love to write. I look forward to and get so excited to hear what the Holy Spirit is going to reveal to me.

Now remember, when tomorrow comes and you enter into your office to perhaps straighten up or to maybe even do some much needed work, seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to ensure that you are doing exactly what you need to do as He speaks; this is a sure of way of knowing that your business will be the success you work so hard for it to be.

I hope you have a lovely evening and a weekend you will forever cherish.

To God be the glory because He alone deserves all the honor.

Women Entrepreneurs

Doing Business God’s Way Is The Pathway To Great Lasting Success!

Women entrepreneursGood Day God’s Virtuous Women Entrepreneurs,

You know I have a story to share and tell. It seems I always have a story to share with you because I love to give you inspiration to prayerfully encourage you!

It’s Thursday, April 11, 2019, and I am grateful, so sincerely thankful to be here. Appreciative of and for all the things that God has given me and for the abundant things He graciously bestows upon me which is the power to create wealth and to use my creativity and skill set to prosper me and you. Yes, I’m taking you on the journey with me.

As I was thinking about what to post this morning in my Facebook Group, Girlfriends Glorifying God, I didn’t have to think but for a nano second because the Holy Spirit said FAITHFUL.  Yes, He spoke faithful directly into my heart, like insulation that gets poured into a house to give it warmth, He simply said FAITHFUL.

Women entrepreneursAll this week I have been doing a lot of research for my businesses. I’ve slowed down in terms of selling my body butters because I am preparing for Mother’s Day. I have begun assembling my gift boxes for Mother’s Day this week so that when the time comes all I have to do is bag them up and hand them over or ship them out to my customers. I’m not a last-minute person and in business I am the same way.

As a female entrepreneur, I like to think that I think smarter simply by using my wisdom, knowledge and all of the understanding that I have when it comes to building my business.

I have always believed that women entrepreneurs are the heartbeat of the world. We have a nurturing spirit and we have been blessed to do some amazing things. It’s who we are. Women entrepreneurs can do anything and I mean anything. This is evident in some of the female bloggers blogs who have published their work out in the world wide web. Some of the blogs that I have seen are phenomenal; from the words to the photographs, women are changing the world through their own personalized blogs. I think every woman should have a blog. I know I have a few and I love writing for them. Speaking from the heart to share your life’s journey is an awesome way to start a blog. Ok…I’m getting off course here. Let’s get back to the sharing!

Women entrepreneursI have designed some of the most beautiful gift boxes for Mother’s Day and I am excited for my customers to see them so that they can wow whomever they choose to give their gift box to.

So I was researching because I am looking for a graphic designer to create some new things for my body butter brand. Of course, I asked the Holy Spirit to put someone in my path who could do the designing for me and this morning I received an email from MOO (the business card company; they have the highest quality business cards I have ever felt in my hands; a bit pricey, but are you kidding me, wellllll worth it!) I won’t use anyone but them.

As I was saying, I received an email from MOO and prayerfully, I have found the graphic designer who can help me to turn my vision into a tangible work of art. I am excited because I really believe that this email came straight from the Holy Spirit. He always, and I mean always answers my petitions. I am so thankful and blessed.

And so it is, that FAITHFUL came to me because of how FAITHFUL God is to me and you.

Women entrepreneursTell me, how are you coming along in your business. I’d love to hear from you. Please send me an email and give me an update on how you are doing in your business. Perhaps you haven’t started a business, but are in the planning stages of doing so. If you need my help in anyway, I’d love for you to email and tell me where you may be in need of some help. I’ll help you wherever I can be a blessing.

Have a great day and don’t forget to praise God from Whom all blessings consistently, continually and constantly flow.

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear and Why I Made The Smart Choice To Be Courageous and Bold!

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

Why I made the choice to be courageous and bold and use my gifts to start my own amazing life changing empire? I want to help change other women’s lives like I was able to change my own life.

As a child growing up in west Philadelphia I had the most phenomenal childhood with some fabulous people. These people would be become my family.

When I graduated from high school I found myself lost in a forest filled with tall trees and could not see nor find my way out. I lived this way longer than I want to even think about. Eventually, I found my way out of the maze that had me all bound up.

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

When I found my path my steps were stilled and I continued living in bondage gripped by fear. I didn’t realize it at the time. The only one thing I knew to be a fact; I had no faith in God, no confidence in myself and I was fearful of everything.

I was scared to try anything. Afraid to speak up for myself, which meant, and this is beyond crazy, that if someone said things to me out of their ignorance because they saw or thought they saw weakness in me I would respond with what I thought they wanted to hear and not that which was true or how I really felt. This is how I lived for most of my adult life.

I also had a major problem saying no to people whenever they asked me for things. I would say yes when my heart was saying no. I’ve lived my life according to other people’s feelings. I found myself caring for others much more than I cared for myself.

Why I Decided To Open My Eyes and Never Close Them Again

They reason I decided to open my eyes and never close them again is because I chose to trust God.

After becoming caregivers to both my parents, after being horrifically disrespected by my siblings and after my mother transitioned from my home in 2017, (my father had gone home in 2001), my eyes were opened and I decided to be true to myself for the rest of my. I decided to step out of fear.

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

I made up my mind to, one: encourage myself every day and two: run my businesses for amazing success. Well, my focus was on helping other women and if I help other women I’ll be helping myself in a profound way.

Being Encouraged Helped Change My Life

Here’s a brief story about being encouraged.

Growing up, I had no one to encourage me and because no one ever encouraged me in my life and because I had to learn certain things on my own, I can honestly say my life has been forever transformed.

Now it took time for things in my life to get better. And while  I’m still planting and growing seeds I am enjoying and embracing my journey.

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

There’s so much I have gleaned and I am sincerely grateful. One thing I can honestly say is that I have always tried to live a righteous life. Honesty is important to me. I am grateful and my intentions to help other women are real and pure.

I know what it’s like to be scared and unable to use what God has given us because fear steps in for whatever reason.

Trusting and having faith in God makes all the difference in the world. This is how I have been able to do what I do every day, but believe me when I tell you, it took time to deepen my faith because I didn’t know nor understand what faith meant. Once I learned the definition of faith I have been better and I no longer live in bondage.

I finally realized that fear did not belong in my life. Being fearful is a waste of time. That is when I decided to step out in faith, be courageous and bold and use all of the awesome gifts in addition to the reservoir of information God has bestowed upon me.  My life has never been the same. I cannot say this enough.

I dropped fear off at the wayside and I kept moving trying hard not to look back. Did I pick up fear again. Sure. Of course I did. A few times. Fear had been a part of my life for so long that I just couldn’t seem to forget or let fear go completely.

And then one day I told myself it’s time to focus really hard on all the things I wanted to accomplish and let fear and all it’s components go once and for all. I did it. I have an ebook all about how I let fear go to alter my life just in case you’re interested.

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

Since then I’ve been doing all kinds of life loving , life changing things for me myself and why. Why. Because I know I can. I know all things are possible with God.

That’s when I decided to pickup my writing once again. I have written a host of books for women all around the globe because my goal is to simply inspire, uplift and encourage women who may need to be encouraged.

One of my sincerest prayers is to beautifully transform the minds and lives of women so that they, too, can lives prosperous and opulent lifestyles. I thought to myself now is the time to share all that I had written. I know/knew it was and will bless women from all paths of life.

So I wrote Treasures Inside You, B.U.I.L.D and Cynthia G. Boyer.  You see for me being an entrepreneur isn’t about how much money I can make. For me it’s all about how many women and girls I can help, touch, warm and transform. I started so many blogs in my effort to achieve my goals. I was all over the map with my endeavors until God’s Holy Spirit spoke to my heart. He told me to organize my business decently and in order.  I did. Order is significant trust me when I tell you.

I took my time and with patience I’ve been able to build my websites and blogs placing them under the umbrellas to where they all belong.

Why I Decided To Step Out of Fear

I am overjoyed that I recognize all of my faults and shortcomings. I saw the need for change in myself. Believe it or not I was impacting my own life in such a negative major way.  I’ve learned some great things in my life after I made the choice to step out of fear.

On this awe-inspiring journey I have learned that I am phenomenal. Yes, I am. More importantly I have learned a lot about myself. I discovered, after a long exploration, that I am as powerful as can be. I not only have the power to get wealth, but I am wealth. I give away and share my wealth every chance I get.

I have learned that I am a creative being capable and able of doing all that is possible, of course with God’s hands and help.

I am in a completely different space in my life and there is light illuminating my every step which leads and guides me into the abundance and prosperity that have always been an enormous part of my life. These are all the reasons why I decided to step out of fear and into the life that I have been created to live.

I’m so thankful that I can see it all crystal clear and I live it every single day of my life. I give God all the glory.

Loving His plan and purpose for my life.

The Importance of Writing Down Your Goals

Because Writing Down Your Goals and Dreams Work

The importance of writing down your goals and your dreams is well, very important.

Good Evening Women of Excellence,

Goals and dreams, gifts and talents, skill sets and awesome abilities; we all have been equipped with some form of wealth.

I have had a really busy week managing my businesses. To be honest, I’ve been going full force since January and I have to say I am loving it because I get to share my wealth and rich reservoir of abundance with you and other Christian women entrepreneurs.

I must say that I have not been writing down all of my goals before going to bed every night. I’ve been working until 11:30 p.m. most nights which is why I have not been faithful as I once was in this important area of my life and business.

Writing Down Your Goals Make You Accountable

Why is it important for you to write down your goals? Writing down your goals make you accountable.

If your plan is to ensure that you get everything done to keep your business flourishing as you implement more and more of your brilliant ideas into your business, you will not want to miss or skip a beat.

There have been times when I’ve come up with something that I thought was absolutely brilliant only to move on to the next thought without ever having written all of that brilliance down, but I thank God for His Holy Spirit who resides me because He reminds me of some of the things that I may forget because I’m always working on something.

I realized today that I need to start writing down the things that I need to accomplish the next day to help keep me on track where my business goals are concerned. It really does make an enormous difference in keeping me focused in business.

What I Kept Telling Myself; Write Down Your Goals and Why You Should Too

For instance, today I had all of my goals nesting in my mind and I kept telling myself to write them down. I even had some of them in my kindle, but there is something about writing them down on 3×5 cards or in my note book that makes things flow easily and effortlessly for me. I was busy all week working on my new website and I kept telling myself, it is important for me to list my tasks and then work towards getting them accomplished after I had completed the website.

After adding all of my articles, posts, plugins and everything in between, yes, I use WordPress, I finally launched my website.

I love designing and creating my own websites because for me, it is highly therapeutic. I love to see what I can do with whatever them I decide to use.  WordPress is a challenge, but now that I have mastered it I enjoy using this amazing platform for website building. There is so much that you can do with WordPress.

Let me tell you the possibilities are endless. If you’re anything like me and you love challenging yourself, then I suggest you give WordPress a try. It may be a piece of cake for you. For me, it was pretty difficult to figure out or so I thought it was until I was able to understand how it all comes together and how it all just makes sense!

I also love graphic design. Self-taught, I get to use my creativity in a powerful way which is to thank God, praise Him while giving Him all the glory for my gifts and talents.

Get Your 3×5 Cards Out Now!

Your 3×5 cards are all about you. They have the story of your business written on them. Keep them visible and then keep them stored in a safe place. They will be your compass. Attach them to your business plan so that you can refer to them whenever you need to.

My Hope for You

It is my hope that you, too, are writing down your business goals and any other goals that you want to accomplish in your life as well as in your business.

Having a daily-to-do list in your life will help to make you accountable for your actions. Think of it as one of your best girlfriends who calls you to see if you’ve done this or if you’ve done that and if not, then when are you going to get to it, she asks. So go on and get those 3×5 cards out now and I mean right now. You’ll thank yourself the second you do.

For me, penning my goals is a must. Today, I began writing down my goals and tomorrow I will begin executing the plan that is attached to each goal with each one being relative to all my other tasks.

I am looking forward to working towards achieving all the tasks on my to do list. I am not going to rush through them, but I am going to enjoy attaining each one in an effort to bring value to others and that is one goal that will remain on my daily-to-do list as long as I am a Christian woman entrepreneur!

Giving God the Glory!

21 Ways to Achieve Wealth and Success

Prosperity and Abundance

In his book, Rich Habits — The Daily Success Habits of Wealthy Individuals, Tom Corley outlines several habits that distinguish the wealthy from the nonwealthy.

IamWoman-cgtboyer-4-sig

It got me to think, How many people operate on autopilot and don’t stop to monitor their everyday patterns? Below I’ve summarized 19 of his habits for success (nine culled from his book and the next 10 from his recent article in Success) plus two of my own. If you’re not actively engaged in these 21 things, you are, in effect, leaving money on the table.

1. Setting good daily habits.

Good habits are the foundation of wealth building. The difference between successful and unsuccessful people lies in their daily habits. Simply put, successful people have many good habits and few bad ones. If you understand that your bad habits may be preventing you from becoming wealthy, that realization will be the first step in your improving your circumstances.

In his book, Corley invites you to take out a sheet of paper and list your bad habits in one column and then invert each one to place under a new column for good habits. It should look like this:

Bad Habit/Good Habit

I watch too much TV. I limit myself to one hour of TV per day.

I don’t remember names. I write down names and remember them.

Then for 30 days, follow the guidance of your new good habits list. You’ll be amazed at how much you can accomplish.

2. Regularly creating goals.

Successful people are goal driven. They create goals all the time. They plan their day the night before with to-do lists.

People who are headed for success think for the long term. They have daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals. But what’s a goal without a plan to reach them? So not only do successful people have goals, they also come up with ways to achieve them and hold themselves accountable.

3. Engaging in self-improvement daily.

Successful people are always looking for ways to improve themselves. They read every day and are students of their profession. They don’t spend their time on activities that don’t bring them closer to their goals.

I recently attended an event hosted by author Brendon Burchard, who said he consistently blocks out time to create. Successful people like Burchard know that time is too valuable a commodity to waste. They spend their time on the things that will move the needle for them in their business: Being committed to self-improvement means you engage in activities every day that will stretch you.

Seek ways to expand your knowledge. This won’t always be easy, but people grow from things that pose a challenge. Once your knowledge grows, opportunities appear.

4. Regularly taking care of personal health.

Each and every day successful people make an effort to eat right and exercise. Eating right is of utmost importance. Exercising daily can become a regular habit, just like taking a bath. People who exercise routinely have more energy to get things done. How are you doing in this area?

5. Often making time for relationship building.

People who are successful are other-people focused. They take time out of their day to strengthen the bonds of friendship and form long-lasting relationships with others. Networking is something they do all the time. They reach out to their contacts and look for ways to help them with no expectation of in return.

The most beautiful sound on Earth, I once heard someone say, is your name. So make it a goal to learn the names of every contact you meet. Aren’t you impressed when someone remembers your name? I know I am. So stand out as different and start remembering names.

6. Doing things in moderation.

You live in a balanced way if you do activities in moderation. This means having a balanced approach to work, eating, exercise, consuming alcohol, watching television, surfing the Internet and so forth. As a result, people will enjoy your company. If people like being around you, then you will be more apt to collaborate or find the new business partner that you need to take your business to the next level.

7. Getting things done.

Don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today: Accomplish things. All people have fears, but successful people push past them. They don’t procrastinate. They get the important things done, no matter the cost.

In Rich Habits, Corley explains that when the thought of putting off something enters the mind, immediately shed notion by saying, “Do it now.” He says repeat these words 100 times if necessary. Just don’t stop till the task is done.

8. Keeping a positive outlook.

Consider the most successful person you know. Is that person positive or negative? Most likely this individual is positive, enthusiastic, energetic and happy. This person chooses to see the good in others and in himself or herself. To this person, problems are just opportunities waiting to be uncovered.

Every day people are bombarded by news of bad deeds and doings. Successful people minimize their exposure to this type of thing and instead opt to fill their minds with positive ideas from books and magazines.

9. Regularly saving money.

According to Corley, successful individuals put away about 10 percent to 20 percent of their gross earnings in a savings, investment or retirement plan. Not everyone can afford to do so, but what percent are you putting away?

10. Rejecting self-limiting thoughts.

 Iamwomancyndiboyersig7

Successful people command their thoughts and emotions. As soon as bad thoughts intrude, they cast out anything that challenges their ability to succeed at the task at hand. They do not dwell on negative notions. Their self-talk is positive and not overly critical. They replace bad thoughts with good ones.

Because successful people engage in self-improvement daily and are constantly involved in positive things, they don’t allow themselves time to indulge in negative emotions.

11. Living within means.

Wealthy people avoid overspending. Among many of those struggling financially, some are living above their means. They spend more than they earn, live from paycheck to paycheck and are drowning in credit-card debt. If this is you, resolve today to turn things around for you and your family.

12. Reading daily.

Many successful people read 30 minutes or more every day. Reading can increase your knowledge and know-how. When you read, often you are seeking to improve yourself. This automatically sets you apart from your counterparts. You will stand out from the competition.

13. Limiting TV watching.

Did you know that many successful people limit the amount their TV time to one hour or less a day? How much time do you lose in front of the television that you could be spending doing something more productive?

14. Doing more than what’s required.

Successful people regularly go above and beyond the call of duty at work. Even if something is not in their job description, they will volunteer to do it. Wealthy people make themselves invaluable. As an entrepreneur, you may not have a boss. But in what ways do you go above and beyond for your clients? How do you wow them?

15. Talking less and listening more.

When you listen, you learn. And as the adage goes, that’s why people have two ears and one mouth. When you take the time to really pay attention to what another person is saying, it can truly help not only you but your bottom line as well. When you listen, you are in a better position to help others.

16. Not giving up.

Don’t give up when the going gets tough. Successful people hang in there. They pivot. They try something new. They persist. They may have to change their direction, but they keep moving forward.

17. Spending time with like-minded ones.

There’s a saying that goes, “Show me who your friends are and I’ll show you who you are.” I believe that. People are only as successful as those they choose to surround themselves with. Good associations can help you more quickly achieve your goals.

18. Finding a mentor.

Many people who have had a mentor have attributed their success to that person. Mentors can help you achieve your goals faster and keep you accountable. They can share valuable experience that can cut your learning time in half.

19. Knowing your why.

When you know why you’re doing something, you will get what you want quicker than if you don’t. Having a purpose is essential to being successful in business and in life. Why do you want to be successful? Why do you really want to be wealthy?

20. Not giving fear the upper hand.

Everyone has fears. Successful people don’t allow their fears to limit or define them. Fear inevitably keeps you in the same position and stunts your growth. Recognize your fears and seek ways to overcome them. Interview someone you admire and ask that person how he or she overcame a fear or pick up an autobiography and take notes.

21. Upgrading skills.

If you want to get ahead, there’s only one way to do it: Become better at something than you are today. What’s the one thing you can focus on for the next 30 days that will catapult you to rock-star status in your industry? Focus your attention on that. I heard John Lee Dumas from Entrepreneur on Fire define “FOCUS” like this: Follow one course until success. Will you?
