How to Create Your Own Side Hustles in 2024

As small business owners there is always something to be done. It is a never ending cycle of excitement and gratefulness.

I pray you are well and your empires are thriving and flourishing.

Earlier today, Thursday, January 18, 2024, I posted an article about 4 passive side hustles that can help supplement your income.

After reading and posting the article I wanted to add my own opinion about side hustles.

In the article the writer mentioned and talked 4 side hustles. None of those resonated with me, but perhaps they did with you. If they did not, you may be interested in hearing my thoughts on this matter. Here’s my thought about side hustles.

Let me preface this by saying last year was kind of difficult for me. I felt like something was blocking my progress. There were goals I was trying to accomplish, but at every turn I failed. I didn’t know what to do think so I made the decision to be still for a while.

During that time, I developed sciatic nerve pain. If you have ever had sciatic nerve pain before you know that the pain is beyond excruciating. However, I still tried to work my business, but I couldn’t even sit at my desk to work because the pain was severe.

All summer long I was confined to the bed because the pain would not let go of me. As I laid in bed, I was reading about different supplements that could possibly ease the sciatic nerve pain.

I ordered and began taking Tumeric, Primrose oil and Alpha Lipoic Acid. These all seemed to make me feel 100% worse and I was struggling to get out of bed to bathe. The Alpha Lipoic Acid made my sciatic nerve symptoms worse. I stopped taking it after a week and the pain began to subside just a little.

When fall arrived, the pain started to ease even more, but something continued to block my progress. It was then that I went to the Lord to ask Him for guidance and direction for my blogs and businesses. I was losing money and needed to understand why so that I could stop this financial decline in business.

Not long after speaking with the Lord I made three sales from my skincare line, but that was it for 2023.

2024 has now arrived and I made a vow to myself to design a new strategy for my business. I am working to towards creating, let’s just say, everything new where my businesses are concerned.

Well, today is a new day and the article that I posted has me thinking about my own income. I asked myself what unique skill set, gift and talent do I possess that can bring more money into my home. Answering that question was easy for me.

So I already know what I love to do. I know what I am passionate about which is, writing and graphic design. Now, what products can I create from my passion? This is the list that I came up with that maybe you too may have an interest in.

First, digital products. Why digital products? Because I am a self-taught graphic designer and I am deeply passionate about this gift, I can easily create and design the best digital products ever. I can also post them on Etsy and see how they do.

The second side hustle that can bring in big money is the artwork that I have designed using my graphic design skills. I have a treasure chest of beautiful graphic artwork that I can sell while blessing others and their homes.

And the third side hustle that I love is making tee shirts with help from a print on demand service.

Coming up with and creating your own ideas when it comes to side hustles is the best thing that you can do for yourself. When you design your own side hustles, it usually always comes from the gifts you have because these side hustles resonate with your spirit.

You can also start yet another small business using your creativity. Incorporating all these things from your brilliant mind can help you to explode your business or side hustles in no time at all.
